11/6/05 -- The Wit and Wisdom Update!

Kelly: David, do you remember how miserable you were when you and Dorian split up?
David: What? I was miserable because you had nothing good to eat in the house.

The November update to The Wit and Wisdom of David Vickers has been completed. The David/Kelly (2005) and David/Todd sections have been updated. The David/Starr and David/Adriana sections have been created. I've added a page giving more information about the site. I've also re-opened The Vintage Vickers Screencap Gallery, with lots of David screencaps from 1994-1995. While my current collection of David screencaps is limited I hope to have more added over Christmas break (when I'm back home for the holidays and I have access to a screencap maker).

You might notice that the David/Dorian (2005) and David/Spencer quote sections were not updated this time (usually I update them once a month). Those will be updated for the December update.

Coming Soon
* Lots more updates to Manning Network related pages. I plan to have major updates completed for Beloved Boy, Connected and Oh Great One before Thanksgiving. Stay tuned.

Basically, just eight new transcripts...six from 1995 and two from 2005. Also, for those that didn't see the link I posted weeks ago at The Front Page, If That's Love announces that the Vintage T&B Screencap Gallery is back up (and gives a link to the new location)!

Quick notice to let everyone know that If That's Love has moved to our new address -- http://toddblair.bravehost.com

The reasons for the move? It was going to happen sooner or later. I wanted a shorter address for one thing. Also, this gives us more space...which I will probably be needing one of these days.

In terms of new stuff for this update, all there is is a new transcript from 1995 in the Vintage transcripts section. I'll try to do better for the next update.

Just a brief announcement that my newest Manning-related fanlisting, "Somewhere There's Hope" has been launched. The fanlisting is in support of the relationship between Todd, Blair, Starr and Jack.

6/27/05 -- If That's Love Updated!

If That's Love has finally been updated -- I apologize for waiting, what, twenty days in between updates. Hopefully that will not happen again.
* Seven new transcripts, one from 1994 and six from 1995. Lots of good material there, mostly all centered around Todd's "officially" becoming the Lord heir.
* Four new songs have been added to the Lyrics Collection.
* The Vintage Screencaps Gallery has been updated with three new albums: Viki Tells Todd Victor Raped Her; The Cramers Bond Pre-Wedding; and Todd and Viki Visit the Lord Crypt.

* In the very first days of July I'll have my monthly update of The Wit and Wisdom of David Vickers.
* I'm planning a big update for Oh Great One, and also updates for Beloved Boy and Connected sometime in the first half of July.

If That's Love has been updated! Here's what has been added.
* The "Information" section will be undergoing a huge revision...right now, I've added "Blair Cramer" and "Todd Manning" header banners to their pages; I've also majorly updated the Todd&Blair History page (which hadn't been updated since around this time last year -- yikes!).
* Bunches of new articles added to The Sun...some Kassie DePaiva interviews, one TSJ interview, two T&B articles from 2000 -- not to mention a bunch of Kassie and Trevor quotes to their respective quote pages.
* The Vintage Screencaps Gallery has been updated with two new albums: T&B's First Meeting (at Rodi's) and T&B's Sledding Date.

If That's Love has finally been updated! I'm so sorry about the long wait between updates lately...now that I'm finished with finals, I have a lot of plans for the site this summer. Here's what's been added:
* Two new transcripts, one from 1995 (Blair and Todd mess with David's head) and one from 2000 (Blair wakes up and finds Todd sitting in bed with her).
* Seven new articles (and the Standout Scenes page), mostly from 2002 are up in The Sun.
* A new gallery of pictures added to the Vintage Screencaps -- Blair Gives Birth to Starr (from 1996).
* We joined The Todd and Blair Fanlisting, and are also now affiliated with the Todd Manning Fanlisting!
* New link (to The Manning Building, a great website) added to the link section, and some Link Back buttons added to that section....

COMING SOON
* Next on the agenda is probably an update to Connected (the Starr/Travis site) since If That's Love, Beloved Boy, Oh Great One and The Wit and Wisdom have been taken care of in recent weeks. If That's Love has been updated with the following...well, stuff:
* Lots of new articles in The Sun, including a very nice KDP interview about T&B from December 2001 (this came from an old SOD issue that was a surprise find at an antique store, of all places!), as well as a lot more negative publicity about the Margaret-kidnaps Todd story. (Thank God that story is over.)
* Also in The Sun, a lot of quotes about KDP/RH/TSJ/T&B from various cast members -- Erika Slezak (Viki), Dan Gauthier (Kevin), Jason Shane Scott (ex-Will), Bree Williamson (Jessica), Kristen Alderson (Starr), etc. etc.
* The Lyrics Collection has been updated with the KDP song, "I'm Sorry, But I Love You."
* The Links/Fanlistings page has finally gotten a slight over-haul...the fanlisting buttons have been cleaned up...dead links are now gone.
* New If That's Love buttons in the Link to Us section.

Okay, so I finally got around to updating! The break-down:

NEW ARTICLES
* 2 new T&B articles, one of them is the BIG feature interview with TSJ/KDP.
* 4 new KDP articles...including the joint interview KDP did with real-life friend/co-star Hillary B. Smith (Nora).

OTHER
* Two new songs that played for T&B added to the Lyrics Collection.
* New page in the Quotes section...quotes from 2001, when Blair was pregnant with and gave birth to Jack (at the time Todd thought the baby was Max's and was ultra-jealous).

Next on the agenda...

Congrats to KASSIE DEPAIVA (Daytime Emmy Nominee!)

Yay for Kassie DePaiva ("Blair") who, this morning, received a Daytime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series! Long over-due, in my opinion. The little banner up there features part of a screencap from the January 5, 2004 episode (which is apparently the one that Kassie submitted for the nomination process). In that episode, Dorian and David came home from a New Year's Eve party to find Blair, frightened and bruised after a confrontation with Todd. Was it rape? Dorian thought so and tried to convince Blair that she should call the police immediately. But Blair was reluctant, especially when she considered Starr's reaction.

Blair: Get off my back, Dorian! I'm not calling the cops!
Dorian: What, are you -- you're going to let that monster get away with this?
Blair: I have to, for Starr! If I get the cops involved, she will never forgive me! Do you understand that?

If That's Love has been updated...here's the basic breakdown...

NEW ARTICLES
* 4 new T&B articles ranging from October 04 to January 05...some interesting stuff.
* 4 new TSJ articles...including the big feature interview he did in December 04, "Super Manning."

OTHER
* A "song that reminds of T&B" submitted by Silver...in the Lyrics Collection. The song is called "Such Great Heights" and it really is beautiful.
* 5 screencaps of KDP and TSJ at Super Soap Weekend 2004...those are in The Sun section.
* New buttons for linking back to If That's Love were also added.

In other news, Connected (the Starr/Travis) site was updated the other day after several long months of a hiatus. Now that the blog has launched, expect to see updates appear here notifying visitors of updates to Connected, Oh Great One, Beloved Boy, If That's Love and The Wit and Wisdom of David Vickers.
